I’m Dr. Panagiotis Vagianas widely known by my patients as Dr. V.!
Since 2008, I’ve been providing dedicated primary healthcare. As a General Practice/Family Medicine specialist involved in treating many patients, on a daily basis, I’ve gained significant experience across a wide spectrum of medical procedures. Building on this strong foundation, I’ve expanded my services to include Medical Aesthetics, offering treatments like Botox, Fillers, Mesotherapy, and PRP to help you look and feel your best. At KOLONAKIOU MEDICAL CENTRE, where I serve as managing director alongside Dr. Christos Ficardos, our guiding principle is always mutual trust and shared decision-making, ensuring comprehensive care for both your medical health and aesthetic aspirations.
My Journey in Medicine
Progressively improving for a better world.
My medical journey began at the Medical School of Nis, Republic of Serbia, from which I graduated in 2005. After completing my military service in 2005-2006, my degree was officially recognized by the DOATAP Organization in 2007. I then specialized in General Practice/Family Medicine over four years. This comprehensive specialty provided me with extensive training across a vast array of medical fields, equipping me to offer broad coverage and care for a wide range of diseases, minimizing the need for patients to consult multiple specialists for issues that can be handled by a Family Medicine doctor.
International Experience & Expertise
My professional experience spans several countries, enriching my medical perspective:
- Greece: I worked both as a private doctor in Amaliada and as a consultant in the public healthcare center of Kozani.
- Republic of Ireland: I gained invaluable experience during three years as a GP for various practices and as an Out-of-Hours doctor.
In both Greece and Ireland, I managed a diverse range of everyday healthcare conditions, covering fields such as cardiology, orthopaedics, minor surgery, dermatology, paediatrics, gynaecology, general surgery, respiratory medicine, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, psychiatry, nephrology, urology, and urgent care medicine.
Establishing Roots in Cyprus
In November 2018, I relocated to Cyprus, initially serving in the Accidents and Emergencies department of the General Hospital of Limassol. Since June 2019, I have been proudly contracted with the HIO, providing primary care medical services within both the General Healthcare System (GHS) and as a private doctor.
Expanding into Medical Aesthetics
Building on my extensive medical background and experience in minor surgery, I further expanded my expertise. In October 2023, I obtained my diploma in Aesthetic Medicine treatments. This allows me to integrate medical science with artistry, offering a range of aesthetic treatments as a skilled injector, including Botox, PRP, Mesotherapy, Fillers, and Collagen Boosters. My approach ensures natural-looking results, always prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
